Cleo Sol Bio

Cleo Sol is a British singer-songwriter, born on March 21, 2000, in London. She is best known for songs like Why Don’t You, High, and Never the Right Time. She has worked with other popular musicians like Tinie Tempah, and Wretch 32. 

Her full name is Cleopatra Zvezdana Nikolic, and she is half Serbian and Spanish. She grew up in a musical family and has absorbed numerous musical styles including R&B. The song that most struck her when she was young was Stevie Wonder’s Don’t You Worry Bout a Thing. She was inspired by artists like Alicia Keys and Destiny’s Child. Her first recorded appearance as a featured vocalist was on Tinie Tempah’s Tears, and Perempay N’ Dee’s Time to Let Go. That was when she gained support from DaVinChe. She later signed to his Dirty Canvas label and in 2011 she debuted with the song High. The same year she released the tracks Call for Me, and LoveBass which received support from BBC Radio 1. In 2017, she released the songs Why Don’t You and Try and You Try which were written and produced by Inflo. In 2020, Cleo released her first solo album, titled Rose in the Dark.
