Cori Gauff, also known as Coco Gauff, is an American professional tennis player born in 2004 in Delray Beach, Florida. She has stood out soon in her career by becoming the youngest player to enter WTA’s Top 100 players, and ranking as the World’s # 51 singles player. Born to a competitive sports family, she excelled at various sports as a child and chose to focus on Tennis, training at the Patrick Mouratoglou Academy in France. In 2017she became a finalist in the ITF’s US Open, and became the world’s no. 1 in the junior category after defeating Caty McNally for the 2018 French Open Grand Slam title. In 2019 she first qualified for WTA’s Miami Open, and later that year she won her first WTA title at the Linz Open, while also gaining notoriety for her performance in a Wimbledon match against Venus Williams. The young athlete has won two WTA doubles championships with Caty McNally.
