Cody Bellinger was born in Scottsdale, Arizona on July 13, 1995. He was the fourth round, pick of the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 2013 MLB Amateur Draft. His current position is first baseman and outfielder. He made his debut on April 25, 2017. He was selected for the All-Star Games in 2017, and he also received the 2017 NL Rookie of the Year award, and he was also the NL NLCS Most Valuable Player in 2018. He has also been the Rookie of the Month for May and June 2017, and he was the Player of the Week two times. During his amateur career, he was part of the 2007 Little League World Series. The Dodgers signed him to a contract in 2013, and he received a $700,000 signing bonus.
