Cold Cave is the moniker for the music of rock singer Wesley Eisold, born on February 15, 1979, in Virginia Beach, VA. Eison has been associated with bands like Some Girls, Give Up the Ghost, XO Skeletons, and Ye Olde Maids. He also runs his publishing house called Heartworm Press. The project Cold Cave is described as a collage of darkwave and synth-pop.
Eison began performing under the name Cold Cave in 1995. Cold Cave’s debut album was released in 2009 and titled Love Comes Close. In 2011 came the album Cherish the Light Years, and in 2014, Full Cold Moon. They have also released a couple of EP’s including You & Me & Infinity in 2018, and Fate in Seven Lessons in 2021. They have performed around the world, and even performed at the wedding of famous skateboard legend Tony Hawk.
