Colin Hanks is an American actor, born on November 24, 1977, in Sacramento, California. He is the son of actors Tom Hanks and Samantha Lewes, and the stepson of actress Rita Wilson. He is best known for his work in movies Orange County alongside Jack Black and John Lithgow, King Kong, The House Bunny, and many more. He is also popular for roles in TV shows including Roswell, The Good Guys, Burning Love, Fargo, Life In Pieces, and many more.
Colin attended Chapman University while his father filmed That Thing You Do in 1996, and also had his friends act as extras. He then transferred to Loyola Marymount University in LA and studied at the same time as Sarah Vato, Linda Cardellini, and Busy Phillips. He starred alongside Billy Bob Thornton in the series Fargo, and with Betsy Brandt in the popular TV show Life in Pieces. He appeared in the 6th season of Showtime’s Dexter, alongside Michael C.
