Collie Buddz Bio

Reggae artist Collie Buddz, born Colin Patrick Harper on August 21st 1984 in New Orleans, Louisiana, and raised in Bermuda, studied studio engineering at Full Sail University. Buddz first major job was with Shaggy on Mad Mad World. The up-and-coming artist released his self-titled debut album, which was well received, and his song SOS became the entrance theme for WWE wrestler Kofi Kingston. His song Come Around blew up the charts, and the Busta Rhymes remix shot him into the spotlight. Building his following, he toured heavily, and has played some of the biggest reggae music festivals including Reggae Rise Up, One Love New Zealand, and California Roots Music Festival. Collie often collaborates with other artists, his album Good Life, features Snoop Dogg, Jody Highroller, and P-Lo. His next album, Hybrid, features Rudd, Tech N9ne, B Young, Stonebwoy, Dizzy Wright, and Johnny Cosmic. Notable hits on the album include Bank featuring Russ & B Young, Bounce featuring Grammy Nominee Stonebwoy, and Show Love.
