Comethazine is the stage name American rapper Jahmier Velazquez. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri on July 6, 1998 and is best known for his popular singles “Piped Up,” “Run It,” and “Hella Choppers.” His music is influenced by Odd Future, Lil B, Chief Keef, Rick James, and Nipsey Hussle. He started rapping in his basement before releasing his first E.P. Aloe Vera in 2016. He was an opening act for the rapper Post Malone on his tour the same year. In 2017 he was signed with Todd Moscowitz’s label Alamo Records. Velazquez released several singles like “Deathwish,” “Oowee,” “Hero,” and “Bands” and in 2018 released his first full length album Bawskee that debuted on the Billboard 200. He released his second full length album in 2019 titled Bawskee 2.
