Connan Mockasin Bio
Connan Mockasin was born Connan Tant Hosford on March 21, 1983, in Hawke’s Bay, Te Awanga, New Zealand. He formed the band The Four Skins when he was younger. He eventually created Connan And The Mockasins. He released the EP Naughty Holidays with the band in 2004 and this was followed by Uuu It’s Teasy in 2006. Their third EP, Sneaky Sneaky Dogfriend was released in the same year under EMI, Regal. In 2011, Hosford self-released the LP Please Turn Me Into The Snat as Connan Mockasin which entered the New Zealand charts. The following year, the said LP was re-released with a new title – Forever Dolphin Love. This debut album as a solo artist was followed by another album, Caramel, in 2013. He released another album, Jassbusters / Bostyn ‘n Dobsyn, in 2018.
