Cornelius Smith Jr. is an American actor and performer who was born on March 18th, 1982 in Detroit, Michigan, United States. He was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. He enrolled and graduated from Cass Tech High School, Detroit, in 2000. From there he went on to study at the Southern Methodist University in Dallas.
Cornelius is famously known as the star actor who portrayed Marcus Walker on ABC’s Scandal from 2015 to 2018. He is also known as Frankie Hubbard on the ABC soap opera All My Children which he played from 2007 to 2011. As an actor he is best known for his role in Scandal (2012), Self Made: Inspired by the Life of Madam C.J. Walker (2020), and Manhunt (2017). He won the Most Outstanding Actor in a Daytime Drama Series in the 2010 NAACP Image Awards.
