Cousin Stizz is the stage name of the American rapper and songwriter Stephen Goss. He was born in Avon, Massachusetts on March 15, 1992. His stage name is a nickname given to him by a childhood friend at 12 years old. In 2014 he released his debut single titled “Shoutout.” In 2015 he released his debut mixtape titled Suffolk County that was played over 12 million times on Soundcloud. He became well known after a video came out of Drake playing his single “Shootout” at his birthday party. In 2016 he released his second mixtape titled MONDA. The mixtape was named one of Dig Boston’s Best Local Albums of 2016. In 2016 he signed a record deal with the label RCA Records and released his third mixtape titled One Night Only in 2017. The album features the artists G-Eazy, Big Leano, Buddy, and Offset. In 2018 he was named Artist of the Year at the Boston Music Awards.
