Crystal R. Fox is an American actress and singer best known for her work in film, television, and theatre. She was born in Tryon, North Carolina, United States, on January 1, 1964. Crystal began her acting career in the late 1970s when she performed in many theatre productions in Atlanta, but she made her film debut in 1989 when she was cast in the Oscar-winning film Driving Miss Daisy. She has since had recurring roles in the TV series Big Little Lies, Utopia, and In the Heat of the Night, but she is best known for starring in Tyler Perry’s crime-drama series The Haves and the Have Nots alongside Tika Sumpter, John Schneider, Angela Robinson, and Peter Parros. Her filmography includes In the Heat of the Night: Grow Old Along With Me, The Old Settler, and Burden.
