Cullen Andrew Jones is an American professional swimmer who specialized in the shorter 50m and 100m freestyle races. He was born in New York City, New York, United States, on February 29, 1984. Cullen spent his formative years training with Metro Express, Jersey Gators Swim Club, and Saint Benedict's Preparatory School, and he turned professional in 2006 when he broke the 4x100 m relay record with his fellow teammates Michael Phelps, Neil Walker, and Jason Lezak. He went on to win gold in the same event at the 2008 and 2012 Summer Olympics.
