Cults is an American experimental pop duo composed of Madeline Follin and Brian Oblivion that was formed in early 2010. Ever since they first hit the scene through Bandcamp they have been getting press attention and critical acclaim. Their early song “Go Outside” received immediate attention. In 2011 they signed with Columbia Records and released their first debut album, which is named after their group. After taking some time apart, and Follin starting a separate band with her brother, called Follin, the duo got back together and released “Offering”, which was followed by a set by the same name. Today, they are signed to Sony and record label “In The Name Of”, which was created by British artist Lily Allen.
