Cultura Profetica is a Puerto Rican band that was formed in 1996 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The founding members of the band were Boris Bilbraut, Omar Silva and Willy Rodríguez. But the band now is made up of the following members: Willy Rodríguez (bass, vocals), Boris Bilbraut (drums, vocals), Omar Silva (guitar, bass), Eliut González (guitar), Juanqui Sulsona (piano, keyboards), Daniel Ramírez (keyboards), Beto Torrens (percussion), Ilang Ilang Gutiérrez (backing vocals), Kianí Medina (backing vocals), Esteban González (trombone), Eduardo Cosme (trumpet) and Milton Barreto (saxophone).
Cultura Profética is made of members with solid musical skills and they stand out as the most influential bands in Latin America touring the continent extensively. The band has released eight album independently and the albums are Canción de alerta (1998), Ideas nuevas (1999), Cultura en vivo (2000), Diario (2002), M.O.T.A. (2005), Tribute To The Legend Bob Marley (CD+DVD) (2007), La dulzura (2010), and 15 Aniversario en el Luna Park (CD+DVD) (2012).
