Cuppy Bio

Florence Ifeoluwa Otedola, better known by her stage name DJ Cuppy, is a DJ and music producer born on November 11, 1992, in Lagos, Nigeria. She moved to London when she was 13 to attend a boarding school. A self-taught DJ, Cuppy started to attract attention for her music in her teenage years. The same year she graduated from university, Cuppy was selected as a DJ for the MTV Africa Music Awards. Soon after, Cuppy released her first compilation. Titled The House of Cuppy, the compilation features remixes of popular songs by African pop artists. This compilation was followed by a second compilation, The House of Cuppy II, and the Cuppy Takes Africa Tour. The tour took her to multiple African countries and was filmed as a documentary series that aired on Fox Life. In 2020, Cuppy released her first album of original materials. The album features artists like Efya, Wyclef Jean, Rayvanny, and Rema. Cuppy founded The Cuppy Foundation in 2018 who aims to help displaced children across Nigeria. The Forbes Magazine named her one of their 30 Under 30 in 2020.
