D Double E Bio

D Double E is the stage name of Darren Dixon. He was born on Forest Gate, East London on January 19, 1980. He was part of the N.A.S.T.Y, but he left the group in 2004.

He founded the group Newham Generals, and they released the 13-track full-length album Generally Speaking in 2009. In 2011, he released the EP Bluku! Bluku!, the title track of which featured Dizzee Rascal. He was featured on Teddy Music’s “Ice” in 2013.

He started Bluku Music, a record label, in 2014. Under the music label, he released “How I Like It” in 2017. The following year, he dropped his debut studio album Jackuum! which peaked at No. 61 of the UK Albums chart. The album had 20 tracks including “Better Than the Rest” featuring Wiley, “Nang” featuring Skepta, and “Natural Organic” featuring AJ Tracey.
