Dagny Norvoll Sandvik Bio
Dagny Norvoll Sandvik is a Norwegian pop singer that goes by the stage name Dangy. She was born in Tromso, Norway on July 23, 1990. She is best known for her debut song “Backbeat” that she released in 2015. The song quickly became a hit after being released receiving 500k plays within its first week. An acoustic version of the song was featured on the television show Grey’s Anatomy in the episode “True Colors”. In 2016 she released her debut EP titled Ultraviolet with Republic Records. She has been a featured artist on several songs, including “My Command” by Kohib, “So Good” by Kohib, “Man on the Moon” by LCAW, “Summer of Love” by NOTD, and “Drink About” by Seeb. In 2016 she was nominated for two Norwegian Grammy Awards for Newcomer of the Year and Song of the Year.
