Daisy Fuentes is an actress born on 17th November 1966 in Havana, Cuba. She is widely recognized for being the first MTV’s Latina VJ. She started her career as a weather presenter on WNJU. She later moved to WXTV-TV 41, where she doubled as a weather anchor and reporter for the evening news. In 1988, she became the host of MTV Internacional, which made her popular in Latin America and the United States.
Daisy went on to host a number of shows, including her own talk show, “Daisy”. She also hosted “World Music Awards”, “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve”, and “ALMA Award. She has also been featured on the cover of many magazines and appeared in television advertisements for popular brands like American Express, Pantene, and Revlon. She is currently a co-presented of the singing reality competition “La Voz Kids”.
