Celia Daisy Morna Haggard, best known as Daisy Haggard, is a British actress and writer. She was born in London, England, on March 22, 1978. She began her acting career in 1996 when she made guest appearances on the TV series Ruth Rendell Mysteries. She has gone on to act in the TV series Man Stroke Woman, the Lenny Henry Show, The Persuasionists, Ballot Monkeys, Episodes, Breeders, and Hilda. Daisy is best known for her portrayal of the main character Miri in the TV series Back to Life. She stars in the series alongside Geraldine James, Richard Durden, Adeel Akhtar, and Christine Bottomley. In addition to her acting, Daisy has been a writer on Back to Life. She received nominations for Female Performance in a Comedy Programme at the BAFTA Awards and Best Actress in a Broadcast Network or Cable Series, Comedy from the Hollywood Critics Association.
