American race car driver Dale Earnhardt Jr was born on 10th October 1974 in Kannapolis, North Carolina. He comes from a family of race car drivers and began his racing career at 17 with his father and under the mentorship of Andy Hillenburg. By 19, he had competed in two seasons in the Street Stock Division and moved on to the Late Model Stock Car division. One of the most successful Daytona International Speedway drivers, he has earned the title of the ‘pied piper’ of Daytona. He won the Daytona 500 two times in 2004 and 2014. He is also a fifteen time Most Popular Driver Award recipient consecutively from 2003 to 2017. Dale moved to Hendrick Motorsports after a successful cup career with his father’s team Dale Earnhardt Inc. He continued with them until retirement. He retired in 2021 with 26 Cup series wins and a ranking of 31 in NASCAR history.
