Dan O'Toole is a sports anchor born on 10th September 1975 in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada. He is best known for co-hosting the daily sports news program “SportsCanter” on TSN with Jay Onrait. After graduating from college, he relocated to Vancouver in 1997 to start his career. A year later, he relocated to Fort McMurray, Alberta, where he works for CKYX-FM and CJOK-FM as a sports director.
Dan also co-hosted the Vancouver 2010 Olympics Winter Games at the SportsCenter International Broadcast Center with Cory Woron. Dan and Onrait left SportsCenter in May 2013 for an opportunity in the United States. They announced on their podcast that they would be working for Los Angeles – based Fox Sports 1 channel as co-anchors. When their contract expired in February 2017, they returned to TSN.
