James Connolly, also known by his artistic nicknames Dance System and formerly as L-Vis 1990, is a British DJ and music producer based in Brighton. He began his career in 2008 and released his first eponymous EP that same year. He then funded alongside Bok Bok the imprint called Night Slugs, which gained popularity at London’s East Village club.
He has worked with several music labels including Dress 2 Sweat, Mad DECENT, Sound Pellegrino, and Tres Cool Records. During his career as Dance System, he has released over 5 EP and an album titled 'Where’s The Party At?' in which he collaborated with artists like India Jordan, Hudson Mohawke, and Sorley. Among his most famous singles stand out “My House – Dance System Remix”, “Let’s Go!”, and “Hands in the Air”.
