Daniel Arsham is a designer and social media personality born on 8th September 1980 in Cleveland, Ohio, United States. He is widely recognized for his work, which bridges the worlds of performance art, fashion, fine art, and architecture. In 2007, he founded Snarkitecture with Alex Mustonen. Through their collaboration, they produced a number of notable designs. In 2014, he founded a production company called Films of the Future, which represented a blend of his aesthetics and interests.
He has collaborated with other people, including choreographer Merce Cunningham who tasked him with designing the set, costume, and lighting of his piece, titled “eye piece”. He went on to collaborate with Hedi Slimane, Jonah Bokaer, Kim Jones, Ronnie Fleg, and others. Arsham is popular on Instagram, having gained more than 1.2 million followers. He often uploads his artwork on the photo-sharing platform.
