Daniel Avery is an English electronic DJ and music producer born in Bournemouth, England on September 30, 1986. He started producing music in 2009 and initially went by the stage name Stopmakingme and released several indie-dance tracks and remixes. Avery started DJing at 18 years old and became a resident DJ at the popular nightclub Fabric in London. In 2012 he switched to using his real name and was signed to the label Phantasy Sound. He became well known in 2013 after the released of his debut studio album titled Drone Logic with the record label Phantasy Sound. In 2018 he released the EPs Slow Fade EP and Diminuendo EP and his second studio album titled Song for Alpha with Phantasy Sound and Mute Records.
