Daniel Bedingfield is a singer, songwriter, and producer born in Auckland, North Island, New Zealand, on December 3, 1979. He is associated with Polydor, Island, and UHT record labels. He was part of the DNA Algorhythm with Natasha Bedingfield and Nikola Rachelle.
His single, Gotta Get Thru This, peaked at number one in the UK Top 40 in December 2001 after its release via Relentless Records. The UK-based singer released his debut album in 2002, which peaked at number two on the UK albums chart. He received a nomination for Best Dance Recording of 2002 at the 2003 Grammy Awards.
Daniel won the British Male Solo Artist at the 2004 Brit Awards. He was a judge in the 2013 edition of The X Factor New Zealand. His discography includes Second First Impression, Stop the Traffik - Secret Fear, and Rocks Off Remixes. Daniel has appeared on Lorraine, Heaven and Earth with Gloria Hunniford, and Never Mind the Buzzcocks.
