Daniel Blume Bio
Daniel Penney, also known as Daniel Blume is an Irish dance-pop singer, DJ, and producer born in Dublin in 1999. At a very young age, he started to rise as a promising classical musician, winning a scholarship to study at the Yehudi Menuhin School and BBC’s “'Proms Inspire Young Composers” before turning 16. He then shifted his focus to dance-pop, learning how to produce music by himself on his laptop. He gained notoriety in 2016 through a collaboration with Cheat Codes, and also by supporting Codes and Steve Aoki on a UK Tour. The Cheat Codes collaboration single “Who’s Got Your Love,” topped the US Billboard Dance chart and amassed over 60 million streams worldwide. Since then, Blume has signed with Spinnin’ Records and Virgin EMI records and toured the UK with Jax Jones.
