Daniel Goodfellow is a British Olympic diver born in Cambridge, England, in 1996. He started training as a diver at a young age and had his competitive debut in 2011 at the European Junior championship, where he won bronze for the 3m springboard category. A year later he secured fourth place at the British Diving Championships and ranked highly in the 1m Springboard category, giving him a push to earn bronze medals at the British Championships as a springboard and platform contestant. He gained attention at the 2013 European Junior Championships as a gold medalist. Goodfellow had his Olympic debut in Rio de Janeiro in 2016 and became a bronze medalist for the 10m synchronized diving category, teaming up with Tom Daley. Later that year, earned a silver medal at the European Championships. In 2018, the young athlete started partnering with Jack Laugher for synchronized diving, and also became a medalist at the FINA Diving World Series and the World Championship at Guangzhou a year later.
