Danilo Gallinari Bio
Danilo Gallinari was born on August 8, 1988 in Sant’Angelo Lodigiano, Italy. Danilo’s father also played professional basketball in Italy. Danilo’s basketball career started with Italy’s national team. He played in the 2008 Summer Olympics with the Italian National team. Danilo also played for Italy in the 2011 Eurobasket Championship. After playing four professional basketball seasons in Italy, he started playing basketball in the United States. In 2008, he was drafted by New York in the first round then transferred to the Denver Nuggets in the same year. He has participated in twelve playoff games with the Denver Nuggets. In 2010, he was selected to play in the Foot Locker Three-Point Contest at All-Star weekend. Danilo was unable to play from 2013-2014 due to an injury.
