Danilo Pereira is a Portuguese professional footballer who currently plays for French club Paris Saint Germain (PSG) and the Portuguese national team. He was born on 9th September 1991 in Bissau, Guinea-Bissau, and moved to Portugal when he was five years old. He began his career with three youth teams in Lisbon before completing his youth development at Benfica.
He was then signed to Parma and loaned to different clubs during the 3-year spell he was there. In 2013, he joined Maritimo. He then moved to Porto in July 2015, and after an impressive display at the Portuguese club, he joined PSG in October 2020. Danilo decided to play for Portugal internationally. He played for the Portugal under-20 side before being promoted to the senior team in March 2015. He was part of the UEFA Euro 2016.
