Danny Shelton Bio
Danny Shelton was born in Auburn, Washington on August 20, 1993. His birth name is Daniel Saileupumoni Shelton.
Shelton was the first round, the 12th overall pick of the Cleveland Browns. He signed a four-year deal with the Browns and played all 16 games during his rookie season. He became a free agent in 2016. The New England Patriots acquired him in the fifth round of the 2018 NFL draft.
He went to Auburn Senior High School. Rival.com named him as the 10th best defensive tackle. Shelton went to the University of Washington in college. During his college years, he was named first-team Academic All-Pac three times, from 2012 to 2014. In 2014, he was also in the first-team for All-Pac 12, Academic All-America, and AP All-American.
