Daphne Guinness (born November 9, 1967 in London, England) is an heiress, socialite, actress, and musician most renowned for her love of couture and flamboyant personal style. She is also an artist, art collector, model, fashion stylist, designer, perfumer, film producer, and poet.
Daphne was the daughter of brewery heir Jonathan Guinness and renowned French beauty Suzanne Lisney. Initially, Daphne worked with Isabella Blow and other fashion icons, including Gareth Pugh, MAC, Karl Lagerfeld, and Philip Treacy. In 2007, she created her own clothing line, called Daphne, in collaboration with Dover Street Market. In May 2008, she auctioned off ten rails of her clothing to raise money for a charity called Womankind to help improve the standards of life of women in developing countries. Besides running her stylish brands, Daphne has also acted in acclaimed films including Cashback (2006), The Black and White Maze of the Painted Zebra (2010) and The Murder of Jean Seberg (2011).
She also collaborated on her own perfume, Daphne, with Comme des Garcons in 2009 and became the face of Akris in 2009. In July 2010, she stopped the sale of Isabella Blow's wardrobe at auction at Christie's and sat on the judging committee of the Dorchester Fashion Prize.
In 2013, Daphne released a music video titled Fatal Flaw. She released another music video for Evening In Space as the lead single for her debut album the following year. As of 2021, she has released over 30 songs.
