Darby Leigh Stanchfield is an American actress who is best known for her numerous appearances on TV series. She was born in Kodiak, Alaska, United States, on April 29, 1971. After she began her career in theatre, she moved to the small screen in the early 2000s with appearances in the TV series Diagnosis Murder, Angel, That ‘80s Show, and American Dad. Darby has since acted in the TV series General Hospital, Jericho, Mad Men, and NCIS. She is best known for starring in the hit drama series Scandal which she starred in alongside Kerry Washington, Katie Lowes, Guillermo Diaz, Bellamy Young, and Tony Goldwyn. She won two Monaco International Film Festival Awards for Best Supporting Female Actor, Short Film, and Best Ensemble Cast and a Fan Favorite Award at the TV Guide Awards.
