Darius Jaren McCrary is an American actor and musical artist who is best known for his appearances in the hit TV series Family Matters. He was born in Walnut, California, United States, on May 1, 1976. Darius began his acting career as a teenager in the late ‘80s with appearances in the TV series Amen, Hooperman, and What’s Happening Now. He joined the cast of Family Matters in 1989 which he starred in alongside Jaleel White, Reginald VelJohnson, Jo Marie Payton, and Jaimee Foxworth. He has appeared on the silver screen through performances in the films Saw VI, 15 Minutes, Kingdom Come, and Next Day Air. He received nominations at the Young Artist Awards for Outstanding Young Comedian in a Television Series, Best Young Actor Starring in a Television Series, Best Young Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama, and Best Young Actor in a Motion Picture – Comedy.
