Darrell Britt-Gibson is an actor born on 4th August 1986 in Silver Spring, Maryland, United States. He is best known for appearing in the crime-drama miniseries “We Own This City” as Jemell Rayam. He started his career in 2006, playing the role of Darius “O-Dog” Hill in 8 episodes of the crime drama television series “The Wire”. From 2014 to 2017, he starred in the comedy-drama television series “You’re the Worst” alongside Chris Geere, Aya Cash, Desmin Borges, and Kether Donohue.
IBritt-Gibson made his film debut in 2009, playing the role of Leron in the film “Toe to Toe”. Three years later, he appeared in the short film “Man vs. Automated Phone System”. In 2017, he appeared in the film “Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri” for which he won the Washington D.C. Area Film Critics Association Award in the category of Best Ensemble and Critics’ Choice Movie Award in the category of Best Acting Ensemble.
