Darren Rovell was born on June 30th, 1978, in Roslyn Heights, New York. He enrolled in college at Northwestern University in Illinois after completing his high school education in 1995. His area of study was theatre, and he was a college radio broadcaster for a sports business programme. Darren was hired by ESPN to write about sports, and his writing was based on ESPN's other components, such as contracts and sports agents. He started working for CNBC in 2006, and has hosted about five documentaries. He wrote “First in Thirst: How Gatorade Turned the Science of Sweat into a Cultural Phenomenon” and “Ball: What You Can Learn About Business From America's Sports Leaders” is another of his well-read works. Moreover, he has conducted interviews with several famous people, including LeBron James, Tiger Woods, and Michael Jordan.
