Darshan Kumaar Bio

Darshan Gandas, who is best known by his stage name, Darshan Kumar was born in South Delhi. He started his acting career with the Sahej Theatre Group with whom he performed for five years. He made his debut in Hindi films with small roles in movies like ‘Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai,’ and ‘Tere Naam.’ The casting director of the biopic, ‘Mary Kom,’ asked him to audition for a part in the film. He bagged the lead role opposite Priyanka Chopra. He shot to fame with the 2015 film NH10 where he portrayed a negative character. He was nominated for the Producers Guild Film Award for Best Actor in a Negative Role and won the IIFA Award for Best Performance in a Negative Role. He has acted in other movies like ‘Sarbjit,’ ‘Mirza Juuliet,’ ‘A Gentleman,’ ‘Baaghi 2,’ and ‘Dhoka: Round D Corner.’ He has also appeared in several TV serials and web series.
