Daughtry Bio
Coming from McLeansville, North Carolina, Daughtry is formed in 2006 by its frontman Chris Daughtry. He was a finalist for the American Idol season 5. Chris started singing for local bands at the age of 16. He took his music career until after high school, marriage, and fatherhood. Chris Daughtry was considered to be telegenic and a rocker promise which gave him a good standing in American Idol. He ended up in the final four.
After the American Idol days, Chris formed Daughtry. Other members comprise of Jeremy Brady, Josh Steely, Josh Paul, and Joey Barnes. Before the first album, “DAUGHTRY” was released, Brady was replaced by Brian Craddock. The album debuted high on charts. DAUGHTRY became the fastest-selling debut album in SoundScan history.
