Dave Gorman is a comedian, travel writer and broadcaster born on 2nd March 1971 in England. He is known for cracking outrageous comedy stories that often get his audience laughing out their ribs. He began his career in 1993, writing comedy series such as The Mrs Merton Show and The Fast Show. He became famous after releasing his TV programme “The Dave Gorman Collection,” followed by the book “Are You Dave Gorman?”
The book was nominated for the Edinburgh Comedy Awards. Before releasing the book, he took a break from stand-up comedy and travelled across the Pacific Rim nation before concluding his trip in Ucluelet district, Canada. He returned to comedy in 2009, and in 2013, he created a one-hour long stand-up show called “Modern Life is Goodish.” He started setting cryptic crosswords for UK’s The Independent and The Daily Telegraph in 2020.
