David Alan Grier is an American actor, writer, and producer who is best known for his work on TV series. He was born in Detroit, Michigan, United States, on June 30, 1956. After studying Drama at Yale School of Drama, he began his acting career in theater. He became famous when he joined the cast of the comedic sketch series In Living Color which he starred in alongside Keenen Ivory Wayans, Jim Carrey, Jamie Foxx, and Jennifer Lopez. He has since appeared in the TV series The Preston Episodes, DAG, Life With Bonnie, and Dad Stop Embarrassing Me. David has appeared on the silver screen through films like Stuart Little, Jumanji, Boomerang, and Bewitched. He received a Grammy nomination for Best Musical Theater Album.
