Born in Virginia, USA on September 8th 1971, David Arquette was ultimately born into his career, with his father Lewis being an actor and his mother, Brenda, an acting teacher.
David began working at a young age, in 1992, in the film Buffy the Vampire Slayer. His breakthrough appearance came in 1996 when he starred alongside acclaimed Drew Barrymore in Scream. His character was so popular in this film, that the script was rewritten to exclude his death, allowing his appearance in Scream 2 (1997) and Scream 3 (2000).
David married Courteney Cox, star in the popular Friends series, in 1999 in San Francisco. He is also the voice of Eddie Wachowski in the Playstation and Xbox sports game SSX Tricky (2001).
