David Benioff Bio
David Benioff was born as David Friedman on 25th September, 1970 in New York, New York, United States. He is a writer, producer and movie director. Benioff has also worked as a DJ, club bouncer and high school teacher. One of his most popular creations is “Game of Thrones”, but he is also known for “The Kite Runner” and “25th Hour”. Benioff is the winner of the 2019 Emmy Award - Outstanding Drama Series, 2018 Emmy Award - Outstanding Drama Series, 2016 Emmy Award - Outstanding Drama Series and 2015 Emmy Award - Outstanding Drama Series, all of which were for Game of Thrones. He has also been nominated for Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series and Outstanding Writing for a Drama Series.
