David Cay Johnston is an American investigative journalist, TV personality, and author best known for his work in economy and tax news. He was born in San Francisco, California, United States, on December 24, 1948.
David has been a columnist for Reuters, with his pieces focusing on economics, business, and tax. In 2001, he received recognition for his investigative pieces when he won the Pulitzer Prize for Beat Reporting. David has made several appearances on the TV shows Democracy Now, CNN Tonight, Cuomo Prime Time, Deadline: White House, The Young Turks, and New Day, which featured Michaela Pereira, Chris Cuomo, and Alisyn Camerota.
