David Dawson is an actor born on 7th September 1982, in Widnes, Cheshire, England. He is best known for appearing in the historical fiction television series “The Last Kingdom” from 2015 to 2018. He started his acting career in 2005 with the film “Doc Martin”, playing the role of Wallace. Two years later, he appeared as Affers in the comedy television series “The Thick of It”. He also starred alongside Colin Farrell and Keira Knightley in the independent crime film “London Boulevard”.
In 2012, he appeared in the films “Parade’s End”, “The Mystery of Edwin Drood”, and “Henry IV, Parts I and II”. From 2015 to 2018, he was cast in the historical fiction television series “The Last Kingdom” opposite Tom Taylor, Emily Cox, and Tobias Santelmann. David has also appeared in a number of theatrical productions, including “The Dazzle in 2015, “Luise Miller” in 2011, “The Entertainer” in 2007, and “Richard II” in 2005.
