David Duchovny is an American actor, director, producer, singer-songwriter born on August 7, 1960 in New York. David earned an undergraduate degree from Princeton University, and he also attended Yale University, where he undertook a Master’s Degree in English Literature. He abandoned his doctoral studies at Yale to pursue acting full time. In the 1980s he started to have small roles as a secondary actor in movies like “New Year’s Day” and “Bad Influence” but he got further recognition for his work on the acclaimed TV series “Twin Peaks” created by David Lynch, in the role of Dennis Bryson. In the 1990s he started to make box office hit movies like “Don’t Tell Mom the Babysitter’s Dead”, and the comedy “Beethoven”. In 1993, David got the lead role in the independent film “Kalifornia”, that same year he landed a role of the FBI Agent Fox “Spooky” Mulder on the long-running TV series “The X-Files”. That series was a huge success and was seen worldwide. In March 2015, Duchovny was announced as returning in a six-episode continuation of The X-Files.
