David Warren Ellefson is a Famous American Bass player. He was born on November 12, 1964, in Jackson, Minnesota. His professional music career started in 1983 when he co-founded Megadeth with Dave Mustaine. Being a pivotal band in the thrash metal community, Megadeth accomplished 10 Grammy nominations and numerous gold and platinum records. Ellefson was with the band until they separated in 2002. Alongside Dave Mustaine and Shawn Drawer, the drummer, the band reconciled in 2010 and played together till May 24, 2021, when Ellefson decided to part ways with the group. Besides Megadeth, David Ellefson was a part of numerous successful bands and projects like F5, Soulfly, Altitudes and Attitude, Metal Allegiance, and Temple of Brutality. In 2015 David launched his record label known as EMP Label group. The production company is associated with artists like Doll skin, Autograph, and Green Death. By having a Bachelor's degree in business marketing, David Ellefson is an accomplished businessman and a member of the global music community and the coffee industry. He launched his coffee brand Ellefson Coffee Co.
