David James is a former professional soccer player who had an outstanding career as a goalkeeper. He is currently a pundit on the British sports channel Sky Sports. James started his career in 1986 with the youth setup at Watford. He was called to the senior team in 1988. and made '89. appearances for the club before joining Liverpool in 1992. He made 214 appearances for Liverpool between 1992. and 1999. He went on to play for premier league clubs Aston Villa, West Ham, Manchester City, Portsmouth, and AFC Bournemouth.
James also played for Bristol City, IBV, and Kerala Blasters. In 2018, he was appointed manager for Kerala Blasters. He is the fifth player with the most Premier League appearances at 572 matches. James also played for the various youth levels of the England national team before being called to the senior team in 1997. He made 53 appearances for the national team.
