David Spade was born on July 22, 1964 in Birmingham, Michigan. His career started flourishing in the 1990’s as a cast member on Saturday Night Live. In 1997, he transitioned to a sitcom called Just Shoot Me!, which ran until 2003. His film career commenced with his friend and colleague Chris Farley starring in Tommy Boy (1995) and Black Sheep (1996). He won a MTV Movie & TV Award for his work in Tommy Boy. In 2001, he co-wrote and starred in Joe Dirt. Spade has also starred in Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star (2003), Grown Ups (2010) and Grown Ups 2 (2013). Additional T.V. credits include 8 Simple Rules, The Showbiz Show with David Spade, Rules of Engagement and The Goldbergs. He has been nominated for two Golden Globe Awards (1999 and 2000) as well as four Primetime Emmy Awards (1990, 1991, 1993, and 1999).
