David Thewlis Bio
A British, author, actor, screenwriter and director, David Thewlis was born in 1963. Best known for his role in the Harry Potter film franchise as Remus Lupin and work in the Gal Gadot starring Wonder Woman film as Ares, he has won multiple awards for his nuanced performances.
With roles in such critical success as Naked, Dragonheart, and Seven Years in Tibet and The Big Lebowski, he has worked in Macbeth as King Duncan and will be seen in the third season of the hit television series Fargo. With over seventeen award nominations, he has enjoyed considerable success; five of these awards were won for his work in the black comedy film Naked, in which he portrayed Johnny, an intellectual conspiracy theorist.
