David Wain is an actor and comedian born on 1st August 1969 in Shaker Heights, Ohio, United States. He is widely known for co-writing and directing several films, with the most notable being “They Came Together” in 2014. Wain started his career in 1992 as a writer, director, and producer on the short film “Aisie Six”. In 2001, he wrote, directed, and co-produced the teen comedy film “Wet Hot American Summer”.
Wain made his acting debut in 2000, playing Steve Posner in the romantic comedy film “Keeping the Faith”. That same year, he portrayed Bunning in the comedy-drama film “Bamboozled”. His film, which features Alan Alda, Malin Akerman, and Jennifer Aniston, was released on 24th February 2012. Two years later, he wrote, directed, and produced the satirical romantic comedy film “They Came Together”, which featured Max Greenfield, Ed Helms, Christopher Meloni, and Cobie Smulders.
