David Zayas Bio
David Zayas is an actor born on August 15, 1962, in Ponce, Puerto Rico.
After his family moved from Ponce, David grew up in Bronx, New York. At the age of 19, he joined the United States Air Force and worked at the New York Police department for 15 years. Although he was working as a policeman, David still wanted to pursue his dreams and become an actor. His first engagement was in 1996 in the TV Series New York Undercover. Only one year later, he appeared in the Feds (1997) and made his movie debut in Lena's Dreams alongside Marlene Forte and Gary Perez. David played the role of Jorge. Among numerous projects he was a part of, David Perez is widely known for his roles in famous TV Series, Dexter (2006-2013), movies such are Skyline (2010), The Expendables (2010), 16 Blocks (2006), Body Cam (2020), Annie (2014), and many others.
